A Bit About Us
Since its establishment in 2018, Neon Eye has worked with businesses, entrepreneurs and filmmakers to produce a wide range of audio-visual content from promotional videos to short films. In our start-up years, we have supported local and international organisations through fun video creations, such as animated explainers for German-based IoT company, MYNXG, or promoting Bedlam Theatre's Fringe play, 'Going Slightly Mad', with a trippy live-action trailer. We have brought un-explored topics to the forefront, as with our award-winning documentary ‘Dolce Caledonia’, which delved into the history of Italian Scots by unearthing stories of three third-generation Italians living in Edinburgh. We aim to create videos that inspire our clients and viewers with inventive results while addressing thought-provoking themes and issues through our productions.
In 2021 and the post Covid-19 period, Neon Eye is on track and motivated to make more great content! We are expanding our team and growing in a new direction, looking to take on more projects with a creative and innovative focus. Whilst working in pre-production for our short fiction film ‘The Wolf and the Lamb’, we also have other exciting stuff in the works and are looking forward to sharing that with you soon. Following in the trend of Neon Eye’s Home Cinema which ran from May 2019 to September 2020 and discussed topics of cinema through history, we want to produce more content inspired by film history and the craft of filmmaking. We really want to hone in on the eloquence of creativity and to create with the craft of fiction in mind. We are also looking to continue to deliver corporate and commercial output with our new team and to regularly support businesses and entrepreneurs world-wide with original moving image productions.
